Ammonium carbamate

Ammonium carbamate

1, Structural formula: NH4CO2NH2
2. Physical and chemical properties:
Ammonium carbamate is an important chemical raw material with a wide range of uses. It is composed of ammonium bicarbonate and carbamate (commonly known as complex salt) and is a white translucent solid.
Ammonium carbamate is used in the production of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical reagents, fermentation accelerators, electronic components, etc., and is a valuable ammoniating agent. Analytical pure and chemical reagents, can be drip analysis of potassium, radium and thorium, etc., can be used as chromatographic analysis reagents, can evolve a variety of carbonate products. Specific gravity 1.56, melting point 58 °C, insoluble in alcohol, hygroscopic. After moisture absorption and moisture, it emits a stimulating ammonia odor and is easy to weathering in the air.
